Co-authored research

The calendar is public and it runs to September 2027. Pick a slot, bring something we do not have, and publish it with us.

Most research partnerships fail because nobody agrees in advance what each side is contributing. Ours starts from a dated slot on a published calendar, which removes the two things that usually kill these arrangements: uncertainty about scope and uncertainty about when it ships.

No money moves in either direction. You get the reach and the method. We get access to something we could not have assembled ourselves. Both names go on the piece.

Who this is for

Industry bodies and chambers with membership nobody has surveyed properly. Professional bodies whose function has no published evidence base. Universities and research groups with a dataset and no distribution. Operators with an operational record worth documenting. And occasionally another publication with a complementary readership.

It is not for vendors seeking coverage of their own category. A collaborator is never the subject of the research they collaborate on, and the Landscape series takes no collaboration at all.

What a collaborator brings

Contribution

Data

A dataset, a panel, an operational baseline or a body of cases we could not assemble ourselves.

Contribution

Access

A population, a market or a set of practitioners who will speak to you and not to us.

Contribution

Domain expertise

Depth in a sector or a function that changes what the questions should be, not just who answers them.

How it works

01

Pick a slot

Choose an item from the calendar below, or propose a topic that fits one of the six series. Every item is dated, so you know exactly when it publishes.

02

Agree the split

Who researches what, who writes what, and who signs it. Both names appear on the piece, with the contribution stated.

03

Publish

On the scheduled date, in the open record, under the Forum method. You get the artefact, the charts and the citation string to use as you like.

The two rules

No money changes hands in either direction. And a collaborator is never the subject of the research they collaborate on. The Landscape series accepts no collaboration at all.

Open slots

Every item below is scheduled and unwritten. Filter by series, find something you know better than we do, and tell us which one.

Propose a collaboration

Tell us the slot and what you bring. We reply within two working days.
