Global AI Forum ("GAI Forum," "we," "us," or "our") collects information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use our platform, and information provided by third parties.
Information you provide directly:
- Registration information: name, work email address, job title, company name, and industry vertical
- Profile information: professional background, platform expertise, and areas of research interest
- Communications: messages sent through contact forms, email correspondence, and event feedback
- Research download registrations: email address and professional context provided when accessing gated research
- Sponsorship applications: company information, contact details, and sponsorship objectives
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data: pages visited, research downloaded, events registered for, and time spent on the platform
- Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs
- AIgranary engagement data: vendor profiles viewed, comparison activity, and search queries
We do not collect payment card information directly. All payments are processed through third-party payment processors who maintain their own privacy policies and security standards.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to operate the GAI Forum platform, deliver research and event services, and improve the intelligence we provide to enterprise leaders. Specifically, we use your information to:
- Provide access to research reports, event registrations, and community features
- Send research publications, event invitations, and The Signal newsletter to subscribers who have opted in
- Match enterprise leaders with relevant Inner Circle and Boardroom event opportunities
- Deliver opt-in contact lists to research and event sponsors — only where you have explicitly consented
- Improve AIgranary search relevance and vendor matching based on aggregate platform usage patterns
- Respond to inquiries and provide support
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell personal information to third parties, use personal information for advertising targeting outside our own platform, or share individual-level behavioral data with sponsors.
Information Sharing
GAI Forum does not sell personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: We work with third-party vendors who assist with platform operation, email delivery, event management, and payment processing.
- Research and event sponsors: Sponsors receive opt-in contact lists from specific research downloads and event registrations where you have explicitly consented.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Sponsor Data Access
- Sponsored research downloads: If you check the opt-in box consenting to be contacted by the sponsor, your name, work email, company, and job title are provided to that report's sole sponsor.
- Sponsored events: Post-event, if you have consented at registration, your contact information is provided to the event's presenting sponsor.
- AIgranary Professional and Enterprise tiers: Sponsors receive aggregate organisation-level engagement data only. They do not receive individual-level personal information.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services.
- Community member accounts: Retained while your account is active. You may delete your account at any time through account settings or by contacting privacy@gaiforum.com.
- Research download records: Retained for 36 months.
- Event registration data: Retained for 24 months post-event.
- Communications: Email correspondence retained for 24 months.
- Sponsor contact lists: Once transferred to a sponsor, those records are governed by the sponsor's own privacy policy.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information.
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information.
- Objection: Object to processing for direct marketing purposes.
- Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw at any time.

International Transfers
GAI Forum operates globally with community members in 60+ countries. Personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
For members in the European Union and United Kingdom, GAI Forum processes personal information as a data controller under GDPR and UK GDPR respectively.
Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we use commercially reasonable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Global AI Forum platform, website, research publications, events, or AIgranary service (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including community members, research subscribers, event attendees, sponsors, and vendors.
GAI Forum reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered members by email.
Community Membership
Free community membership is available to enterprise practitioners — individuals employed at or advising organisations that are potential end-users of enterprise AI technology.
AI vendors, technology consultants, and service providers are not eligible for free community membership. Vendor access to the GAI Forum community is through sponsorship and AIgranary.You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Intellectual Property
All research reports, Deep Briefs, event materials, AIgranary content, the GRAIN scoring methodology, website content, and related intellectual property are owned by or licensed to Global AI Forum.
- Permitted use: Community members may access, download, and use research for internal, non-commercial professional purposes.
- Prohibited use: You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit GAI Forum content without prior written permission.
Research & Content
GAI Forum research is produced for informational purposes to assist enterprise leaders in understanding the AI landscape in their industry. It does not constitute investment advice, legal advice, or a recommendation to purchase or avoid any specific product or service.
Chatham House Rule: Content discussed at Inner Circle and Boardroom events is subject to the Chatham House Rule. Participants may use the information received but may not reveal who made any particular comment.
Events
Event registrations are personal and non-transferable unless explicitly permitted. GAI Forum reserves the right to decline or revoke registrations that do not meet the eligibility criteria.
Recording, photography, or video capture at in-person events is prohibited without prior written permission from GAI Forum.
AIgranary
GRAIN scores and AIgranary vendor profiles are produced based on information available to GAI Forum at the time of assessment. Scores reflect the assessment team's independent evaluation and do not constitute endorsement of any vendor.
Vendors with paid AIgranary profiles do not receive preferential scoring. Payment for a profile funds the assessment process — it does not influence the outcome.Sponsorship
Sponsorship of GAI Forum research, events, or AIgranary products is subject to separate sponsorship agreements.
Sponsors expressly acknowledge that sponsorship does not provide any editorial input, review, or approval rights over research content, event programming, or GRAIN scores.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- Misrepresent your identity, professional role, or organisational affiliation
- Access community membership or event formats for which you are not eligible
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect content or member data from the Platform
- Distribute malware or engage in any activity that disrupts or impairs the Platform
- Violate the Chatham House Rule at any GAI Forum event
- Reproduce or distribute GAI Forum content in violation of intellectual property terms
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Platform and all content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GAI Forum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
